SPAN investigating odour pollution incident that shut down Semenyih WTP

PUTRAJAYA, Dec 3 — The National Water Services Commission (SPAN) is investigating the dumping of banned effluents that is believed to have led to the odour pollution in Negeri Sembilan and Selangor on Thursday and Friday (December 1 and December 2).

Sg Semenyih pollution: Food factory issued stop-work order

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 5 — A food factory in Beranang, Selangor has been issued a two-week stop work order from yesterday as the plant is believed to be the cause of the odour pollution in Sungai Semenyih, the Environment and Water Ministry (KASA) said in a statement today.
